What Local Jobs Put in Our Containers
Estate renovations and barn work dominate: big houses, old materials, long drives. 20 and 30-yards handle the volume, and we watch the weather because the hill roads and long gravel drives punish a loaded truck in mud season. Caretakers and property managers handle many of the bookings, often for owners who are elsewhere for the season, so we confirm placement by photo and invoice remotely without anyone needing to be on site.
Winter changes the logistics: the hill roads demand chains before the town requires them, and a January delivery gets planned around the plow schedule. Most estate jobs here book for late spring through fall.
Not sure what your load weighs? The weight calculator converts square footage of plaster, shingles or carpet into tons, and the sizes guide shows every container’s dimensions.
Pricing
This area uses the Litchfield County rate table. The quote you get is the price you pay: delivery, pickup, the rental period, hauling and disposal are all included, and the standard rental is 14 days with extra days charged per day.

Delivery, Pickup and Placement
Order before noon and the container can arrive the same day, Monday through Saturday; pickup follows within 24 hours of your request. Placement needs 10ft of width, 23ft of straight length and 14ft overhead, and we protect block paving with boards at no charge.
What You Can Put In
General household junk, construction and demolition debris, timber, drywall, metal, furniture and yard waste are all accepted. Hazardous material, tires, asbestos, refrigerant appliances and electronics are not, and heavy debris such as concrete or soil needs its own container. See the full accepted and prohibited materials guide for the complete lists.
Permits
Private land needs no permit. Anything near the green or a town road goes through the Norfolk selectmen’s office; the historic district takes its streetscape seriously.
Nearby Towns We Serve
Deliveries here run from the same fleet that covers the rest of Litchfield County, including Woodbury, Winsted, Washington and Torrington.
